A little about me…

I like cool things and will be blogging about them.  Mostly they’ll be related to emerging technologies, online marketing, web analytics, and social media.  I’ll also have the occasional post on other topics I like such as gadgets, travel, woodworking, cars, watches, and anything else that strikes me as interesting.

A bit more about me…

I’ve been working in the Internet space since 1993.  My background is in online marketing strategy, web analytics, and Internet development.  I’ve run my own boutique online marketing and development firms and have worked consulting firms such as Deloitte where I was an original member of their eBusiness practice and iXL/Scient, as well as Web.com where I ran their online solutions group.

I’m currently Director of Web Analytics at Aspen Marketing Services where I work with a wide variety of clients helping them increase online performance through analytical decisioning, testing, and behavioral targeting.

My undergraduate degrees are in International Business and Management Information Systems from The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business — GO DAWGS!  I also hold an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

I live in Atlanta, Georgia with my wife Kat and our dog Stella, a Bouvier des Flandres who will be making guest appearences here.
